Enock Sakala nets four in ZESCO United win, As Prison Leopards, Warriors, Mutondo, Power and Kansanshi record wins

Enock Sakala Jnr netted four goals to help ZESCO United to seal the CAF Confederation Cup slot.

The MTN Super League entered week 33 of action with eight games taking centre stage.

With the league title already decided, attention turned to the relegation zone and the CAF Confederation Cup slot.

ZESCO United needed a big win to seal the CAF Confederation Cup slot and they responded with just that as they beat Trident FC, 5-1.

Enock Sakala Jnr was on fire as he netted four goals while David Simukonda chipped in with a goal.

Enock Sakala Jnr now moves to 12 goals for the current season two behind former Green Eagles Fred Michael Koublan.

Elsewhere, Kabwe Warriors beat Nkana 2-0 thanks to goals from Mwamba Mutombo and Prince Mumba.

Power Dynamos and Mutondo Stars edged Mufulira Wanderers and ZANACO 1-0  respectively while Konkola Blades and NAPSA Stars played to a 1-1 draw.

Relegation threatened Kansanshi Dynamos and Prison Leopards recorded wins to slightly boost their hopes of survival.

Kansanshi beat FC MUZA 2-0 with goals from Bruce Musakanya and Dalitso Lungu to move to 35 points.

Prison Leopards also edged Nkwazi 1-0 thanks to a David Obashi goal to also move to 35 points.

However following Mutondo Stars’ win and NAPSA Stars draw, the two teams now need Forest Rangers to beat Green Buffaloes tomorrow to stand a chance of staying up.

Should Green Buffaloes manage to pick a point or three tomorrow, both Prison Leopards and Kansanshi Dynamos will be relegated.
