Enock Sakala Jnr likely to lead Zesco United in ABSA Cup as Oburu and Kalengo are ruled out

Enock Sakala Jnr could lead Patson Daka has returned to the Leicester City starting line up as he leads the attack in today’s UEFA Europa Conference League

Sakala came from the bench over the weekend to score the second goal as Zesco United beat struggling Konkola Blades 2-0 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

With Kenyan talisman Vincent Oburu, and veteran Winston Kalengo are out nursing injuries, Sakala could start upfront for Zega Mambo. Spencer Sautu will also miss the match.

The record six time Champions have however been boosted by the availability of winger Edward Lungu, defender Adrian Chama and midfielder Dickson Chapa.

“I can confirm that we will be missing the services of Oburu and Kalengo due to injuries sustained last weekend. We will also be without Spencer Sautu due to contractual obligations as you know Sautu is a Green Eagles player,” Mumamba told the Club’s official website.

“We are happy to have the services of Lungu and Chama who have been out for a while. I can also confirm the availability of Dickson Chapa.

“These three players will provide us with some selection options especially that we will be missing some key personnel.”

ZESCO United faces Green Eagles in the late kick off on Saturday at Arthur Davies Stadium.

Meanwhile Tickets for the 2022 ABSA CUP quarterfinals set for this weekend at Arthur Davies Stadium have gone sale.

The tickets are available at all Shoprite outlets via Computicket. Tickets are pegged at K20 for open wing and K50 grandstand.
