Eneless Phiri scored a hat-trick to lead ZESCO Ndola Girls to a huge 7-0 thrashing of YASA Queens while Indeni Roses thumped Red Arrows Women at Nkoloma.
The Eden University Women’s Super League entered week eleven of action with some exciting match ups taking centre stage across the country.
In Ndola, Eneless Phiri was the star of the show scoring a hat-trick and leading ZESCO Ndola Girls to a 7-0 thumping of YASA Queens.
Thadiwe Ndhlovu contributed a brace while Avell Chitundu and Fridah Kabwe chipped in with a goal each.
Zegalicious Girls have temporarily reclaimed top spot moving to 27 points ahead of Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club who takes on Luyando Foundation Girls on Sunday at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
In Lusaka at Nkoloma Stadium, Indeni Roses thrashed Red Arrows 4-0 in an early kick off.
Ngosa Chabwe scored a hat-trick to lead the Oilo Ladies to a fantastic win. The treble included a goal from penalty spot and another strike direct from the corner kick. Rhoda Chileshe scored the other goal.
The win takes them to third place leapfrogging the Airwomen.
Regina Chanda scored a second half brace to lead ZANACO Ladies to a 2-0 win over Kamfinsa Police Blue Eagles.
Kamfinsa had their star player Mercy Chipasula sent off for a second bookable offence and had to finish the match with 10 players.
ZANACO move up to 5th place with 21 points.
Konkola Blades Queens saw off Amazing Grace 1-0 while Nchanga Rangers Queens and Trident Queens played to a 2-2 draw.
At Nationalist Stadium, Hellen Sichamba’s second half strike was the difference as The Elite Ladies edged National Assembly 1-0.
