Emmanuel Chabula’s loan spell in Kabwe has proven to be a success with the former Lusaka Dynamos forward helping the Collect Boys win promotion to the MTN Super League.
Chabula scored seven vital goals and set up another three in fourteen appearances for Prison Leopards in the National Division One.
Chabula sustained an injury in late 2023 and had to undergo surgery on his knee.
At the start of the 2024/2025 season Chabula did not get enough game time at Nkwazi as he struggled to shake off the knee injury from 2023.
In January 2025 Chabula decided to make a move to Kabwe to join then lower tier side Prison Leopards penning a six months short term loan deal.
Chabula was instrumental for Prison Leopards’ promotion to the Super League netting seven goals including a brace on the final day against Kafue Eagles which saw Leopards’ seal their promotion slot ahead of Trident and Riverplate.
Chabula was between 2018 and 2020 considered by many as the next big thing after breaking into the Chipolopolo set up.
He emerged Chipolopolo top scorer in 2019 with six goals.
The former Kitwe United man was instrumental in propelling Zambia to the 2020 CHAN qualification.
