Record African Champions Al Ahly are on the verge of signing Kabwe Warriors striker Idriss Mbombo who is on loan at Zesco United.
The ZamFoot Crew has learnt that the two Egyptian giants Zamalek and Ahly are interested in signing the Congolese striker with Ahly leading the chase for lethal striker.
A Zambianfootball.co.zm source in Egypt has indicated that Ahly has already made contact with the Zambian club.
Zesco United is expected to have an exodus of players after their exploits in the CAF champions league which saw the Ndola side reach the semi finals.
Clatous Chama has already signed for Egyptian side Al Ittihad while Misheck Chaila and Jesse Were have been linked with moves to Tanzania.

Use the cash that you get from the sale of these players wisely. Go out and get another crop of decent players from around the continent. If you stick local lads, you can kiss goodbye to continental football for a while
Well said.
bezt wishes
In other countries this guy could have been given the citizenship but here in zambia we have a dull FAz presdent he concetrat fighting with his commitee members and you expect our football to move forward with dull leaders like kamanga
Hhhhhhmmmm ba Guru?????Is it that easy????What would you say if Kalaba became Congolese, or Mbesuma became South African.Bola ni bola. We should be proud that our league is attracting decent players from other countries
Iwe Zagwa how damn are you? Kalaba and Mbesuma have already represented Zambia senior level. Please think before commenting and exposing yourself.
Zagwa you are missing the point here kalaba and mbesuma started playing for the national team before moving to these respective countries while mbombo has never played for congo at any level so its very easy for him to change his allegiance France and belgian have done it even zambia can do it
Kamanga came in this year.Mbombo was playing for Warriors when Kalu and Kazala were busy stealing kobili at Faz.The question is,why didn’t Kalu led Faz change Mbombo’s nationality? Another question is on Charles Musonda’s children.why didn’t Kalu persuade them to play for Zambia? Even on Walter Bwalya. The list is endless.
@Piku, Right, but tell that to Kalu’s cadres and they will act stupid as if they don’t know facts. You can’t fix stupidity, can you?
