Zambian striker Edward Chilufya has been named in Djurgadens IF squad for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League third qualifying round encounter against Romanian side CFR CLUJ.
Chilufya has been very influential for the Järnkaminerna so far this season hence it is no surprise that coach Kim Bergstrand had added the Mphande Youth product to his squad for this tricky showdown.

Compatriot Emmanuel Banda together with Erik Berg, Jesper Nyholm, and Alexander Abrahamsson are out nursing injuries hence will miss the match. Banda has been out for over a month now after sustaining an injury in Djurgadens 2-0 loss to Hungarian side Ferencvaros in the first qualifying round of the Champions League on 19th August.
Should Djurgadens manage to get past the Romanian outfit in the one-off encounter they face Finnish KuPS or Süduva from Lithuania in the playoff round.
It is not an easy fixture for Djurgadens however as they face a team that was only eliminated by the eventual champions Sevilla in the round of 32 last season in this same Competition and only on away goals.
Kick-off for the match is at 19:00 at the Tele 2 Arena in Stockholm.
