A PLAYER transfer dispute has erupted between FAZ, Red Arrows and Edusport United over the transfer of Patrick Ngoma to Egyptian side Al Ittihad Alexandra FC.
Edusport, who are claiming ownership of the player have demanded that the International Transfer Certificate for Ngoma be recalled because he was fraudulently sold.
According to letters of complaints obtained by The Post, the Division 3 outfit is accusing FAZ of mishandling the transfer of Ngoma, who was on loan to Arrows.
Edusport chairman Dr Oscar Mwaanga complained in an email addressed to FAZ general secretary George Kasengele that their attempts to correct the situation regarding the ownership of Ngoma have gone unheeded since last year.
“We strongly recommend that you consider recalling the ITC sent to the Egyptian Football Federation and FIFA as the same was issued fraudulently without our knowledge or agreement,” Mwaanga stated. “By stating that Patrick Ngoma belonged to Red Arrows FC, we believe that FAZ falsified information and perpetrated fraudulent activity on TMS regarding Patrick Ngoma’s transfer to Al Ittihad Alexandra FC of Egypt. Other false, fraudulent and illegal acts include the acceptance of the notion that Patrick Ngoma was a free agent and ignoring the player’s passport history which would conclusively show that player belonged to EduSport United FC.”
But when contacted for a comment, Kasengele said the matter was being handled administratively and had already been taken to FIFA, without giving further details.
And Arrows media liaison officer Misheck Kalembwe said the club was not aware of Ngoma’s whereabouts and had no part to play in his transfer.
Kalembwe said he was disappointed with the way the player was sold and advised those involved to desist from taking advantage of players.
FAZ doing what they do best. Its Kalu and co at work.
It looks like somebody from FAZ benefited from the deal. We need serious investigations on this one. Remember Mbola transfer saga? These are the same chaps who were involved and they are at it again!
Sad story.if both arrows and edusport know nothing about ngoma’s sale, then its obvious the scam is at faz. Shame because faz are the custodians of the game and if they play dirty monkey tricks, then who will bring sanity and order to zambian football???
History shows that this is not the first nor is it going to be the last time. This is a normal behaviour at FAZ. It is like corruption and will never be done away with. The best is just to accept that it is our Zambian way of doing things. How else are we gonna interpret this?
This thing will never end
Amateur hour at FAZ, either that or professional scamming.
kasengele needs to be investigated.. he aint clean in such issues
This is not good for soccer. I never knew Zambia had this problem. Neither did I know that the kind of vultures perpetrating such transfers are there in Zambia. I pity you. Your players are likely to get unfavourable transfers especially those who would leap jump from the ZPL to clubs that are outside Zambia.
There is more to this story than meets the eye…..
I see Kalusha’s hand in this.
Bayamba no kwamba end result = player not playing; losing form; and, going into an oblivion abyss.
Before Final transactions or transfers are done ,,,u mean there is no one to make follow ups on the players welfare and clearance from other clubs…!!atleast someone can contact former club officials….!!to me its simply shiow shown lack on seriousness and pipo and just greed ,,just wanting to make money out of the deal and when things back fires…they don’t even know what to do…!!! all maybe there wrong pipo doing this type of jobs….
Again, lol, these people never learn.many questions to be asked, for isntance, was he really a free agent or an arrows player? If indeed he was on-loan at arrows, then Edusport do have a right of argument.Faz as usual running to FIFA,So Cliche from them.
Someone update me here: Who takes charge in the sale of a player? Is it the club or FAZ? What has FAZ got to do with this? Is it not the club which owns the player? Should FAZ not play just an overseer role but not the deal itself?
I MAY HAVE THE WRONG IMPRESSION THAT IT IS THE CLUBS WHICH HAVE THE RIGHT TO SELL OR OTHERWISE OF ANY PLAYER THEY OWN. I DON’T SEE THE ROLE OF FAZ.
I need some education on this.
The boy Patrick Ngoma should be blamed if he signed as Free Agent….He should aske the teams interested in him to talk to his employers!!!!
Not another transfer saga?????????????????????????
