Green Eagles failed to put pressure on MTN Super League leaders Green Buffaloes following Wednesday’s 1-1 draw against Kafue Celtic.
Amity Shamande gave Eales the lead in the 45 minute but Albert Kangwanda equalised five minutes into the second half to earn Kafue Celtic a point.
This was Kangwanda’s fourth goal of the season.
The Aggrey Chiyangi coached has been one of the in form sides in the league.
Eagles are now six points [on 24 points] behind Green Buffaloes who were also held by Forest Rangers.
Kafue Celtic are 10th on the log with 18 points.
Crocs coach Joe Bwalya should be happy with a point.
This weekend Kafue Celtic will be away against Kabwe Warriors while Green Eagles will host Prison Leopards in Choma
