Green Eagles leapfrogged Nkana to go top of the log following a 1-0 win over Green Buffaloes while Kennedy Musonda scored a hat-trick as Power Dynamos thrashed KYSA 4-0.
The MTN/FAZ Super League entered week 21 on Saturday afternoon with six matches taking place across the country.
The National Heroes Stadium hosted a doubleheader with Green Buffaloes hosting Green Eagles in a military derby.
Eagles came into the match without winger Spencer Sautu who was out injured while Green Buffaloes were looking to continue their unbeaten run.
A second-half Ronald Chibwe strike was enough to send the Kawale Boys to the summit with 40 points after playing 20 games.
The second match saw Lusaka Dynamos welcome Nkana. Nkana were hoping to maintain top spot while Lusaka Dynamos were hoping to get back to winning ways.
Idriss Ilunga Mbombo put Nkana in the lead 11 minutes into the match with a long-range finish but Willy Stephanus equalized five minutes to time to make sure the two teams shared the spoils meaning Nkana dropped to second place.
In Kitwe, Kennedy Musonda scored a hat-trick while Davy Daka scored one goal as Powerful Power Dynamos run riot and demolished KYSA 4-0 to move to seventh place on the log.
Prior to Saturday’s match, Musonda had not scored a single goal for Abayellow.
A first-half strike from Stephen Mutama helped Nkwazi claim bragging rights as they beat Napsa Stars 1-0 in a Lusaka derby. Collins Sikombe missed a penalty at the death of the first half.
In Solwezi, Kansanshi Dynamos left it late to beat Red Arrows 1-0 to remain outside the relegation zone.
