Sensational Zanaco and Green Eagles needed late goals to escape near defeat in their respective week 3 MTN/FAZ Super League encounter.
Late goals from Abraham Siankombo and Hosea Silwimba rescued the Bankers and the Kawale Boys.
Eagles squared off with Green Buffaloes in an early kick-off on Sunday at Sunset Stadium. It was the hosts that took an early lead after referee Kennedy Chimense awarded them a questionable penalty, Jack Chirwa stepped up and scored to put Buffaloes in the lead.
With the match headed for a Green Buffaloes win, Midfielder Hosea Silwimba produced a brilliant strike to level matters and make sure the teams share the spoils.
The result means Buffaloes have drawn all their three games so far while Eagles maintain their shared lead at the summit with Forest Rangers.
In the second match of the day, Sensational Zanaco welcomed Nkwazi with Chris Kaunda facing his former team.
Nkwazi were the first to strike thanks to a long-range drive from former Zambia U-20 national team captain Langson Mbewe but Abraham Siankombo leveled matters late in the match to level matters and make sure the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
The point was Nkwazi’s second of the season while Zanaco makes it four points from three games.
