Dorothy Mukatasha pens two year deal with Simba Queens

The Year 2021 has started on a high note for young Zambian striker Dorothy Mukatasha who has made history by becoming the first Zambian female Footballer to move to Tanzania by joining Simba Queens from Zesco Ndola Girls.

Mukatasha has penned a 2-year deal with the Serengeti Lite Women’s Premier League defending Champions.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the ZamFoot Crew from her base in Dar es Salaam, Mukatasha said she is happy and excited to be part of the Simba family and her goal is to work extra hard.

The former Nchanga Queens striker who just finalized her deal is already in Tanzania and she has been training with the team and adapting to the new environment.

She is part of the Coach Mussa Hassan Mgosi drilled lasses who are expected to lock horns with 8th placed team Mlandizi Queens today with Kick-Off set for 16:00hrs local time.

Simba Queens are going into this afternoon’s game occupying the third position with 20 points from 8 games played managing 6 wins and 2 draws without a loss and they are 5 points behind log leaders Yanga Princess and a point below former champions JKT Queens who have played 9 games each in the 2020/21 Serengeti Lite Women’s Premier League.

Mukatasha becomes the latest female Zambian football to ply her trade outside the country.
