Kabwe based Super League side Kabwe Warriors have announced the signing of former Circuit City defender Dominic Chanda. The former Circuit City defender has joined the Magnificent People’s team on a three-year permanent deal.
Chanda spent three years at Circuit City and helped the club to win promotion to the Zambian Super League. Chanda was an ever-present figure in the Circuit City defence line and managed to bang in four (4) goals in the 2019 Transitional Season.
Chanda says it is a dream come true to play for a legendary club like Kabwe Warriors and promises to help the club play CAF Interclub football.
” I am happy to be here and to sign for Kabwe Warriors. It’s a legendary team and it has always been my dream to play for the team, ” Chanda told Kabwe Warriors media team.
“I promise to put in my best for the team and help the team finish in the top four,” he added.
Kabwe Warriors have continued to unveil new signs for the coming 2019/20 season having also signed defender Prosper Chiluya on a one-year loan deal from Kafue Celtic. Chiluya was part of the Under 20 AFCON winning squad.
