Green Buffaloes Women Football Club will this afternoon lock horns with Tura Magic in a do-or-die clash at the ongoing 2021 Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League l COSAFA Qualifiers with kick-off set at 14:00hrs at The King Zelwathini Stadium in Durban, South Africa.
Buffaloes will be going into this match with heads up knowing very well that a semi-final spot is at stake as they aim for maximum points in this tie.
A point will still be enough for the Zambia Army Sponsored side to secure a semi-final spot ahead of Tura Magic based on goal difference as both sides lost 2-0 and 3-0 respectively to Black Rhinos Queens in their opening matches.
Zimbabwean Black Rhino’s already booked a place in the semis from Group B and only one team is remaining to complete the last 4 line-ups.
Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa topped Group A while Double Action from Botswana sealed the second position to qualify to the semi-finals.
The team that will progress between Green Buffaloes and Tura Magic will face Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies on Thursday in the second of two semi-final matches, Kick is set at 14:00hrs.
