Five players have returned to the Zambian Super League after spells in South Africa and East Africa.
The boys are back in their playing ground showing signs of rekindling their old form which saw them move abroad.

Austin Muwowo – Power Dynamos
Released by Zesco United, barely 5 months after joining from South African club Moroka Swallows.
He has since joined Power Dynamos

Augustine Mulenga – Napsa Stars – 1 goal
Joined the pensioners in November 2022 on a short deal which has been extended until the end of the season.
Cried foul after Amazulu decided not to renew his contract.
He has only scored 1 goal in the league.
He started on the bench against in the 1-1 draw against Muza yesterday.

Justin Shonga – Nkwazi – 5 goals
Since Osward Mutapa took over the reigns at Nkwazi, Shonga has seen little action as the gaffer prefers Peter Mwangani and Wezzy Kumwenda.
He was an unused substitute yesterday in the 2-0 win over Buildcon.
Joined Nkwazi in the first half of the campaign and has since scored 5 goals in the league.
He has the talent but he is terrible off the pitch.
As long as he keeps on being the ‘Buyer’, can’t see any future for him under the nonsense Mutapa.

Lewis Macha – Green Eagles – 3 goals
The former Kaizer Chiefs, Baroka and Zesco United has hit the ground running.
3 goals in his last four games.

Lazarous Kambole – Zesco United – 4 goals
Discarded by Kaizer Chiefs, Kambole is resurrecting his career at Zesco United.
He has already scored 4 goals in 3 games.
