Red Arrows midfielder Alassane Diarra is excited to play in the Absa cup and his Looking forward to the quarter final encounter against Nkwazi.
Diarra told the ZAMFOOT CREW in an interview ahead of the Quarter final that he was eager to play in his first ABSA Cup competition.
“I’m very excited to play in the ABSA Cup cause this is my first time. It being one of the biggest competitions in Zambia and it will be my first time playing the ABSA cup,” he said.
“I know its been a while since my team Red Arrows qualified for this tournament so am honored to have helped the team qualify,” he added.
Diarra was also quick to reveal that the team is on course to achieve the targets set at the start of the season.
“At the start of the season we had set targets as a team,our goal is to win the ABSA Cup and also be Champions of the league,at the moment we are on the right path we just have to keep working hard keep pushing definitely we will Achieve our goals this season,” he said
“To our fans we appreciate the support you have shown to us in good and bad times you stand with us, keep supporting us. We will always try and play attractive football sometimes we don’t win but we give it our all. We will always try our best just to put a smile on your face.”
The Airmen will clash with the Zambia police sponsored outfit Nkwazi on Sunday at 15:00 in the fourth quarter final match at Arthur Davies Stadium.
