Daka scores a brace for Leicester City

Leicester City recorded their biggest win since March 2021 after beating Stoke City on Saturday.

The EFL Championship leaders beat Stoke City 5-0 with a brace each from Patson Daka and Jamie Vardy.

Daka gave Leicester the lead in the 27th minute before Kasey McAteer gave them a 2-0 lead.

With rain pouring down in the second half, so did the goals.

The Zambian forward scored from the spot to make it 3-0.

He was then withdrawn in the 69th minute for Jamie Vardy. The veteran striker then scored once from open play and sealed the victory with a well taken penalty.

Daka has now taken his tally to 6 goals in 9 appearnce.

The foxes currently lead the table on 72 points after match week 30

  2. Oh how we needed those goals at AFCON but train hard & glad he is scoring goals. We still have unfinished business with Tanzania & Morocco.

    Can’t wait for the qualifiers. Hopefully they can bring one of the matches at Heroes Stadium. Its been long since we last had an international game in Lusaka.
