Patson Daka was rested in Leicester City’s 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.
Leicester City coach Enzo Maresca gave Jamie Vardy a rare start and the veteran striker repaid the faith with goal on the night, his 9th of the season.
Playing his second match after his three match suspension, Abdul Fatawu gave the Foxes the lead in the first half before Vardy sealed the victory later on.
Leicester City are top of the Championship with 78 points after 31 matches
Daka is expected to regain his place over the weekend
