Daka applauds teammates for helping him reach top form

Zambia striker Patson Daka has described that support the receives from his international teammates as incredible.


The 24 year old has been in devastating form for Zambia in the past 28 months.

The Leicester City’s goal scoring prowess in the last two African Cup of Nations campaigns is only bettered by Nigeria and Napoli’s Victor Osihmen.

Daka has hit an incredible 10 goals in his last 10 appearances in the African Cup of Nations.

Over the weekend, Daka rescued a point for Zambia against Comoros to seal Group H top slot as the Copper Bullets returned to AFCON

“There is no secret but I would say it’s teamwork and togetherness,” the smiling assassin said

“It’s a team sport. I can’t do anything by myself,” he emphasised the importance of team work.

“The support that I receive from my teammates has helped get good results and we are able to do what we have done because we have the quality in the team,”
