ZESCO United striker, Lazarus Kambole has expressed happiness with his recent form which has seen the former Kaizer Chiefs striker score four goals in his last three league appearances.
Kambole’s latest goal came in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Power Dynamos in the MTN Super League week 23 fixture played at the Arthur Davies stadium, Kitwe.
The 29-year-old striker put United ahead with a mischievous 36’ minute backheel which left Power Dynamos players and fans in a state of shock and awe.
Kambole’s goal however, failed to inspire United to a victory after Boyeli snatched a 91’ minute equalizer for Dynamos.
“It is great to be back home and to score for the team. I am happy with my performance so far, unfortunately we could not get three points from today’s match. Our focus now is on the next games.”
Kambole has been on rampage since securing a six-months loan move with United from Tanzanian giants, Young Africans. He scored on his debut against Lumwana Radiants before dispatching a brace against Green Eagles.
United are scheduled to face Napsa Stars on Sunday before facing in-form MUZA FC in Mazabuka.
