Kafue Celtic moved top of the FAZ/Eden University National League on Wednesday after a 1-0 victory over a solid Kalumbila Trident side in a game that was televised live on ZNBC TV3.
They moved to 18 points, one point ahead of Kansanshi Dynamos and Chambishi who have a game in hand against Zesco Shockers away in Mongu.
There was only one stalemate on Wednesday in the National Assembly vs Konkola Blades game which ended in one all scoreline.
The rest of the games all saw the home teams working out victorious with Kansanshi Dynamos beating Muza fc by 1-0, Livingstone Pirates beating legendary Mufulira Wanderers also by a goal to nil while Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy electrocuted Malaiti Rangers by two goals to one, the victory which saw them climb off the relegation zone to 13th place.l
