Zambia Under-20 attacking duo Prince Mumba and Jimmy Mukeya have been ruled out of Saturday’s Cosafa Under-20 Championship tie against Comoros on match day 2 at Nkoloma Stadium, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal
Two goal hero in the 5 nil bashing of Botswana, Mukeya has a muscle strain on his right hamstring while Mumba has a knock on his ankle.
“Both players will miss tomorrow’s game but they should be able to shake off the injuries,” a ZamFoot Crew said after Friday’s training at Lusaka’s historical Independence Stadium
‘They will be available for the knock out stage,” the source added
The two trained away from the main group.
Mukeya, a young Napsa Stars winger was one of the revelations on match day and was named man of the match while Mumba is playing in his second successive Cosafa U20 tournament.
In the duo’s absence, Coach Osward Mutapa will call on the services of Golden Yamikani ‘Kalaba’ Mashata and Roan United’s Jonathan ‘Mbombo’ Munalula.
