Copper Queens trio of skipper Barbra Banda, forward Rachel Kundananji and winger Prisca Chilufya are expected to be in action on Saturday evening and the early hours of Sunday.
Ahead of the WAFCON, three Copper Queens will be in action in America.
22h00 Bay FC vs North Carolina Courage
Rachel Kundananji and Bay FC welcome North Carolina Courage at the PayPal Park as they looking to make it back to back wins.
They face a North Carolina Courage side that are coming from a disappointing 2-0 loss to Washington Spirit.
Kundananji will be looking to add to her one goal she has scored so far this season.
00h30 Chicago Stars vs Angel City
Thirty minutes after midnight it will Prisca Chilufya who will be in action with Angel City who are away to Chicago Stars.
Angel City are looking to make it three wins in a row and face a team that has beaten them just once in the last six matches.
Chilufya will be looking to get some minutes under her belt having only managed to play 38 minutes in the last six games.
Chilufya will also be looking to add to one goal she has scored so far this season.
02h30 Utah Royals vs Orlando Pride
The last game will see skipper Barbra Banda lead Orlando Pride against Utah Royals at the America First Field in Utah.
Orlando Pride has enjoyed success against the Utah Royals since the club rejoined the NWSL in 2024, going unbeaten in four consecutive meetings with three wins and one draw while also outscoring Utah, 11-2.
The Copper Queens star forward has been at the center of that dominance, contributing to seven goals in those four matches with five goals and two assists.
Her seven goal contributions against Utah are tied for the most by any player against a single opponent since the start of the 2024 season.
She will be looking to add to her 12 goals that she has already notched up so far this season.
A goal in this weekend’s contest would move Banda into rare company, as only two players in NWSL history, Ebony Salmon against Chicago and Temwa Chawinga against Chicago, have scored six goals in their first four appearances against a single opponent.
