Copper Queens receive WAFCON bonuses

By Patson Kawewe

The Keith Mweemba-led Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has fulfilled its promise, facilitating government payment of bonuses to the Zambia Women’s National Team players in a timely manner.

The players have received their bonuses for:

✅ Drawing against Morocco

✅ Defeating Senegal

The dues for a win over DR Congo will also be settled within days.

But that’s not all! The players were also paid part of their camping bonuses prior to the Morocco game, demonstrating FAZ’s commitment to timely allowances and motivating our talented players.

FAZ President Keith Mweemba prioritizes the well-being and motivation of our Copper Queens, and collaborative efforts with the government are underway to settle outstanding debts.

This is a significant morale boost for our team as they continue to make us proud on the continental stage.

FAZ and the government are also actively working around the clock to clear the unpaid allowances for the men.

  1. Zambia you did well on the pitch.but the falcons were a bit tactical and superior they capitalized on our defensive errors that cost us. This is soccer girls we should accept the outcome.there is always next time.shalom! shalom!

  2. My comment goes to FAZ and I hope Mr, Mubanga, the Host of this page can bring what I am going to say to the attention of FAZ and especially the President of FAZ. Who is responsible for preparing the Super League fixtures in Zambia? Why can’t this person post on Supersport so that we are able to plan as soccer fans, supporters, pundits, etc. I was meant to believe that the new Executive would improve in this area. Look at the English Premier League. The fixtures are already out! Show us that you can make positive innovations. Should Africa remain Africa and Zambia, Zambia! It does cost a ngwee to prepare the fixtures and post on the platforms where they are supposed to be. Make sure match results are posted soon after the matches have been played. Knowledge is power.
Then to you Mr. Mubanga , for which season are these League standings we have had displayed all these years? This is your page and it is your duty to update it every week so as to provide accurate information to your followers. A lot of people get so much information about Zambian and global football news about our boys and girls prying their football trade in the diaspora. So please work on these issues.
    We cherish your work otherwise.
