The Copper Queens second international friendly match against the Scorchers of Malawi has been moved to 11h30.
The match was initially scheduled for 15h00 but has been moved as teams want to quickly wrap up preparations for the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The Copper Queens beat the Scorchers 2-0 in the first match played over two days with Avell Chitundu scoring on Saturday before a heavy downpour caused the match to be pushed to Sunday.
Rachel Kundananji scored a free kick on Sunday to seal the 2-0 win in Coach Nora Elizabeth Häuptle’s first ever match as Copper Queens boss.
Evarine Susan Katongo impressed in midfield while Judith Soko was able to mostly keep one if the best famale strikers on the planet, Tabitha Chawinga at bay.
Catherine Musonda made two crucial saves denying Temwa and Sabina Thom.

The Copper Queens’ second FIFA International Friendly against Malawi will now kick off at 11h30 on Tuesday at the REIZ Arena (formerly Woodlands Stadium).
The time adjustment comes as the team looks to wrap up its preparations for the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), with the match serving as a key part of their build-up.
Tickets purchased for the match remain valid for the rescheduled 11h30 kickoff at REIZ Arena (formerly Woodlands Stadium).
Fans who already have their tickets can use them for entry, while those without can still purchase tickets at all Shoprite stores via CompuTicket at K50 for general access, K100 for the grandstand and K200 for VIP.
Ahead of the game, the Copper Queens held their final training session on Monday, with head coach Nora Häuptle overseeing two separate sessions.
Players who had limited or no game time in the first match underwent an intense workout, while the starting XI from Sunday’s 2-0 victory focused on recovery.
