The Zambia Women’s National Team have made a huge leap on the Coca-cola FIFA rankings, climbing to 80th in the world in the latest rankings released today.
The Copper Queens have are the biggest movers this month jumping 23 places to move from 103 to 80th and are now among the best 100 teams globally.
In Africa, Zambia is ranked 10th on the continent that is led by Nigeria, South Africa, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria.
The move has been necesited by the amazing performance at the 2022 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations where they secured a debut FIFA Women’s World Cup slot and finished the WAFCON in third place.
