The Zambia Women National Team has arrived in Seoul ahead of two International friendly matches against South Korea.
Bruce Mwape’s lasses arrived at 09:58 hours local time and were welcomed by embassy staff.
The FIFA World Cup bound Copper Queens will test South Korea on Friday at Suwon World Cup Stadium before the final practice match at Yongin Mireu on April 11th.
The two games are part of the Copper Queens preparations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Korea Republic is ranked 17th in the World while Zambia is perched in the 77th position on the global charts.
South Korea is in Group H alongside Morocco, Colombia, and Germany. A match against Zambia will be an opportunity to face African opposition as part of preparations for the FIFA World Cup.
Zambia are in Group C alongside Spain, Japan and Costa Rica.The World Cup will kick off on July 20 in Australia/New Zealand.
