The Copper Queens have intensified preparations for the return leg of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final round qualifier against Angola.
The 2022 WAFCON bronze medalists are carrying a huge 6-0 win from the first leg.
The team was back on the training pitch at Trade Fair ground in Ndola on Friday with a recovery session.
Barbra Banda and Rachel Kundananji switched on the magic on Wednesday as they were involved in five of the six goals scored in what was one of their best games playing together.
The last three games they have played together has seen them score 12 goals between them, a feat even the Great Godfrey Ucar Chitalu would be proud of.
Coach Bruce Mwape will once again look to the duo to provide the attacking spark upfront in front of the home fans.
The Copper Queens will host Angola in the reverse fixture set for Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola on Tuesday 5 December, 2023 at 18h00.
Tickets are available from as low as K20 in all Shoprite stores via CompuTicket.
