Copper Queens coach Bruce Mwape missed Morocco match due to an illness

Copper Queens head coach Bruce Mwape missed Tuesday night’s demolition of Morocco due to an illness.

Assistant coach Florence Mwila confirmed Mwape’s absence in a post match interview.

During the match, Mwila and goalkeeper coach Yona Mwango were spotted giving instructions to the players.

Zambia produced arguably the best away performance in North Africa with a 6-2 win over the Atlas Lionesses with star duo Racheal Kundananji and Barbra Banda grabbing a hatrick each.

Four days earlier Zambia beat Morocco 2-0 in the first friendly match courtesy of a Barbra Banda brace.

Attention now shifts to Cosafa Cup and an Olympic qualifier against Mali.
