Copper Princesses wrap up preparations ahead of COSAFA U17 opener

Defending champions Zambia have wrapped up their final training session at the University of Namibia grounds ahead of their opening Group B match against Mozambique at the 2025 COSAFA Girls’ Under-17 Championship.

Kick-off is scheduled for 12h00 CAT at the Hage Geingob Stadium (10h00 GMT).

Coach Carol Kanyemba and her technical bench put the players through their paces in their final tune-up session, with the team showing focus and determination as they seek to extend their current nine-match unbeaten run.

Zambia will be aiming to get off to a strong start in what promises to be a tightly contested Group B, which also features islanders Mauritius.

Later on Saturday, hosts Namibia will face Malawi in the Group A opener at 15h00 CAT completing an exciting first day of action.
