Copper Princesses off to Uganda

The Zambia U17 Women’s National Team has left for Uganda ahead of Friday’s 2024 U17 FIFA Women’s World Cup third round, second leg qualifier.

The Copper Princesses who carry a 2-0 result from the first leg left Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka aboard RwandAir at 19h00.

Carol Kanyemba’s side will face the winner between Morocco and Algeria in the final round should they beat Uganda.

The girls beat Tanzania in the previous round.

The last time Zambia qualified to the U17 World Cup was in 2014.

Barbra Banda and Grace Chanda were part of that group.
