The Zambia U17 Women’s National Team will be looking to start their 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup second round with a win.

The Carol Kanyemba coached side will be hoping to utilise home advantage when they host their Tanzanian counterparts this afternoon at Nkoloma Stadium.

Upfront, Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club striker Bwalya Namute Chileshe will lead the attack alongside Mercy Chipasula and Elite Ladies’ wonderkid Saliya Mwanza.

In defence, Luyando Foundation Girls defender cum striker Margaret Gondwe will start at right back with Natasha Nkaka at left back while Eunice Bwalya is likely to partner Theresa Mubiana.

Margaret Phiri could start between the sticks ahead of Mwila Mufunte and Cynthia Mushili.

Kanyemba has options in Eunice Mutonyi, Mwaziona Sakala, Gift Chilwizi and Mary Mukupa.

Kick off at Nkoloma Stadium is set for 15h00 Central African Time.
