The Chipolopolo Boys will take part in the Botswana Four Nations Tournament scheduled for 23 to 31 March 2026 at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown.
Hosts Botswana will welcome the 2012 AFCON winners, Malawi, and Zimbabwe for the regional showpiece, which will feature the respective Senior Men’s National Teams of the four participating nations during the March FIFA Window.
The tournament provides the Chipolopolo Boys with a competitive platform to start preparations for the upcoming 2027 African Cup of nations Qualifiers.
There will be a draw for two semifinals with the two winners meeting in the final and the losers in a match for third place.
It’s not clear who will be in charge of the Chipolopolo Boys following the decision by football house to part ways with head coach Moses Sichone after a disastrous 2025 AFCON tournament.
Zambia finished bottom of group A with only two points after recording two draws and losing their final group game 3-0 to hosts Morocco.

Ah ah…Moses Sichone was fired? This is just nonsensical at this point. So what’s the plan?
When was he fired and what has happened to replace him?
