The Chipolopolo Boys will take part in a Four-Nation tournament that will run from March 17-21 in Uganda.
Both the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) and the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) have confirmed.
Zambia will join host Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Mali in a mini-tournament that will be used as part of a warm-up for the CHAN.
“We have planned a three-nation trial tournament in late March 2020 where already Mali and Zambia have confirmed,” Uganda national team head coach Johnny McKinstry told a press conference yesterday in Kampala.
The Copper Bullets are preparing for the CHAN tournament and the back-to-back AFCON qualifying fixtures against Botswana on March 26 and another four days later.
Zambia will host Botswana before heading to Gaborone four days later.
