The Zambia Men’s National Team has left for Bamako, Mali for two FIFA international friendly matches against the Eagles during the international window.
Six local based players and TP Mazembe defender Tandi Mwape left aboard Ethiopian Airlines this afternoon while Red Arrows players will travel on Tuesday after having been away in Angola for their CAF Champions League assignment against Premiero de Agosto.
Other players will fly directly to Bamako from their bases.
Players that left for Bamako via Addis Ababa are Kelvin Kampamba, Lawrence Mulenga, Joshua Mutale, Dominic Chanda, Luka Chamanga, Tandi Mwape and Shemmy Mayembe.
Zambia plays Mali on September 23 and 26 in two A grade FIFA international friendly matches.
The Chipolopolo are using the matches as part of preparation for the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers that will take place next year in March.
