The Chipolopolo Legends will play another exhibition match after their successful match against the FC Barcelona legends.
The 2012 AFCON winners will face African Legends on 4th November in another exhibition match organised by King of Africa.
Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan, former Nigeria captain JJ Okocha and former Arsenal and Real Madrid forward Emmanuel Adebayo will be part of the African Legends.
The Organisers King of Africa, said they could not be more proud of the quality of Legends we will be bringing together from across Africa.
“The inaugural event for the King of Africa was in 2015, in Dar es Salaam, where the Barcelona Legends played the Tanzanian National team. King of Africa has since staged matches across the world. I am sure all of Zambia will remember with great fondness our last game here in Zambia, where Ronadinho and the Barcelona legends played our Chipolopolo Legends to a capacity audience at Heroes stadium.
A moment to be etched in our minds forever. The spirit of the Zambian people at Heroes Stadium created an atmosphere second to none and we hope to replicate that.
It is with that kind of sentiment that the King of Africa brings the people of Zambia the African Legends who will challenge our Chipolopolo Legends on November 4th this year at Heroes stadium. We remain grateful and committed to honouring our MOU with the Ministry of youth, sports and Arts.”
Tickets go on sale on 1st September at Zamtel stores countrywide.
The exhibition matches are being organised as an initiative to grow sports tourism and create employment opportunities for young people.
