The Chipolopolo boys got down to work in the freezing Al Shaab International Stadium in Baghdad on Wednesday a few hours after arriving in Iraq.
Coach Aljosa Asanovic and his technical bench led the lads through the paces under the wash of floodlights in the chilly Baghdad atmosphere that has temperatures oscillating between 10 and 13 degrees Celsius.
The action on the pitch however showed none of the irritation that sometimes comes with frigid weather as the lads went about their business unimpeded.
Asanovic’s bullets face Iraq tomorrow (Friday) in an international match that will kick off at 20:00 hours local time (19:00 hours CAT).

Zambia has carried an all-local assemblage that the coach is having a closer look at ahead of the qualifiers for the qualifiers for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) that kick off in June/July.
Some of the local players will be part of the full-strength squad that will participate in two international friendly matches during the FIFA window in France and Portugal.
Zambia is set to play Angola and Guinea Conakry on March 25 and 29 respectively.
FAZ vice president Justin Mumba is leading the delegation in Bagdad.
