The Chipolopolo took to the November 11 Stadium in Luanda for the official training before facing the Palancas Negras of Angola on Tuesday in a FIFA Window International Friendly match.
Assistant coach Perry Mutapa and his lieutenants Noel Mwandila, Kennedy Mweene and Joseph Musonda prepped the lads in the absence of the bed-ridden head coach Moses Sichone.
Sichone is still hospitalised in Port Elizabeth after having been hit by a suspected case of food poisoning hours Zambia faced South Africa at the Nelson Mandela Stadium.
While Sichone and video analyst Elias Chipota are still under the watch of medics, there is good news as Scotland based midfielder Miguel Chaiwa has been discharged from hospital.
On the preparatory side of business Mutapa has rallied his troops gunning for a win to wind up the FIFA Window games on a high.
While skipper Lubambo Musonda joins the sick bay after also showing signs of illness in the aftermath of Zambia’s 3-1 loss to South Africa, Mutapa has enough armoury to carry on the charge on Tuesday.
Zambia plays Angola tomorrow (Tuesday) at the November 11 Stadium at 17h00 local time (18h00 Zambian time) with the match live on ZNBC TV3.
