  2. Nigeria missed the AFCON in 2012 and again has missed this time. Zambia on the other hand have been there since 2010 in Angola. If you compare the two countries, you find that Zambia is much much better than the super chickens.

  3. Are there terms of ofice for the faz president? coz kalu seems to have been in ofice forever. wen is he going to go? he is sticking to janza who is not even a qualified coach. kalu has achievd nothing as faz president and needs to go. abash kalu and abash p.f

  4. The rankings at this particular time dont count for much. We are already seeded for AFCON 2015. The only time we should chase for good rankings next is when we kick start the world cup qualifiers.

  5. This is in response to @Stumpy’s questions.Firstlly, the FAZ’s constitution does not have a limit of the term of office just like FIFA’s hence one can hold office as long as he keeps on being voted, secondly Jaza is a very qualified Coach , on paper not experience,I think he is a holder of a UEFA B ,CAF instructor,AFCON winner,COSAFA Cup winner.people just as much as we are not happy with some of the players he plays I think he needs to be given time moreover he is local and money he is paid will be invested back here in Zambia.

  6. People are confusing the DRCor Doctor Congo or the Democratic Republic of Congo 12 in Africa with and Congo Brazavlike 13 in Africa. The two are different and they have both done very well in the qualifiers. Remember, DRC shocked IC 3-4 in Abidjan; Congo Brazaville shocked Nigeria 1-3 in Nigeria. So differentiate the two Congos. In my view they have done well. We struggled against minnows.

  7. someone tell me the last time zambia beat a non African team?

Egypt beat Bosnia Herzegovina prior to the worldcup; do your research before you make false claims about this lame zambia team.

  8. Usles coach janza must recal cris. we need the afcon wining team a team doesnt finish in 3 years. prune only the likes of chamanga mbesuma and joseph. but the core of the team must be retained. the youngsters who at afcon 2012 hadnt yet matured much are now ripe like evans kangwa. the qualification of our team to afcon is as a result of the players individual hardwork.

  9. The usless janza benches kangwa and chisamba and leaves out jacob and cris but calls chamanga. the determination of singuluma and kalaba have qualified us not the usless janza.

  10. The reason i asked wen kalu is going to vacate is that during his corupt tenure the job for head coach has never been advertised. were did that white asistant come from? did he apply for the job?

  11. Even though he was just picked, he(muzungu) has shown some tactical changes. I believe he is behind the three wins zambia has recorded. As for Janza,i don’t think he has what it takes to prepare the team for afcon finals.

  12. The formula Fifa uses to Rank teams> P=M x I x T x C. Were P=points,M=points for a single match eg win=3points,draw=1,lose=0points and win on penalties=2points and losing team gets 1point.I=importance of the match eg a friendly is 1point,mini tournament like cecafa is 1point,qualifiers to Africon is 2.5pts,world cup qualifiers is 3pts,Africon tournament is3pts and World cup tournament 4pts.T=strength of team according to the FIFA current Ranking a team highly than is given 200pts divided by 100.teams Rank 150 and below are given 0.50pts.C=confederation strength eg Uefa=1,conmebol=0.98,concafa=0.85,caf=0.85 these points are from the last three world.the sums up like this P=M x I x T x C x 100

  13. Call Chris K! For what? Just because he has scored 2 goals now he is the best striker.SORRY but some people really have small minds.Limiting their ability to think! You school boys better grow up that unreasonable behaviour will destroy zambian football

  14. The fairest rankings that have come out of FIFA in a long time. People even if you complain the teams above us have done fairly well for a good number of matches. Congo and South Africa have beaten their way at the expense of Nigeria. Egypt maybe but the rest deserve their places. Work hard and get positive results always and or in case i forget, play good opponents not mediocre teams and afterwards you want FIFA to clap for you. Consistency is the word

  15. Zambia should concetrate of AFCON 2015 and stop bothering yourselves on rankings.. Remember in 2012, we won but could only be number 4…Lets show that Football is won on the pitch not on paper rankings..

Now that Nigeria is not there my only worry is Algeria, these countries have given us night mare i must admit. Also can Kalusha consider KESHI to assist Janza..Viva Chipolopolo
