The Zambia men’s national team has dropped two places on the new FIFA Coca-Cola Rankings released today, 21st October 2021.
The Copper Bullets have dropped to 87th in the World from 85th they were ranked last month. Beston Chambeshi’s men have been leapfrogged by Haiti and Uganda.
Zambia’s hopes of qualifying to the 2022 FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup were handed a big blow on 7th October as the Bullets were beaten 2 – 0 away by Equatorial Guinea.
The Copper Bullets were then held to a 1-1 draw by the Nzalang Nacional at the national Heroes Stadium in front of 20,000 cheering fans three days later.
Senegal remains the highest-ranked team in Africa as they close the top 20 in the World with three more teams in the top 30 in Tunisia (27), Morocco 29, and Algeria (30).
