The Zambia national soccer team will commence preparations for the must win Cameroon 2021 Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers against Algeria and Zimbabwe on Sunday, 7th March 2021.
Chipolopolo coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojević will start to drill the local players as he awaits the arrival of the international players.
Micho named 16 local players in his initial 33 man provisional squad but he has added five other local players to make a 20 man squad for the local players camp. Luka Banda will not be available as he is out with Napsa Stars who will play in Morocco in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The additional names include Sensational Zanaco striker Abraham Siankombo who is joined by other impressive local league midfielders that include Francis Zulu, Prince Mumba and Muma Mumba. Second tier Kansanshi Dynamos striker Martin Njobvu has also been given a chance to impress the technical bench.

Zambia are bottom of group H with three points but are not far off the pace with second placed Zimbabwe at five points.
Zambia will need Botswana to drop points and they should pick maximum points at home against the African Champions Algeria, on 25th March, who have not lost in 22 games since October 2018 and against Zimbabwe if they are to qualify to the finals.
It’s a good team he has picked, let us just support it with positives. We know it’s not every one who likes the coach. But in a democratic dispensation all is welcome. The iron sharpens the iron
