Russia based midfielder Chisamba Lungu has jetted into the country and arrived in Ndola to beef up the Chipolopolo squad ahead of the 2018 Russia World Cup qualifier match against Nigeria.
Chisamba arrived in Ndola at 12:15hrs and was scheduled to join his team mates during the afternoon training session.
His arrival brings the number of players in camp to 21 with only Rogers Kola and Stopilla Sunzu still being awaited.
Wedson Nyirenda will further trim his squad on Thursday ahead of the game to be played on Sunday.
It will be interesting to see what role the versatile Ural midfielder will be given under Wada Wada after he played at full back under Herve Renard, pushed wide in attack under Honour Janza and currently playing a more advanced role in attack for his club where he has scored a goal already this season.
The 2012 Africa CUp of Nations winner had previously snubbed a call to play for the Chipolopolo under Geroge Lwandamina but said he would not want to disappoint his mentor Wada this time around.
We want to win games at home to stay in this race, not playing formality games late in the qualifiers. I hope the failure to qualify to the AFCON and losing points at home has been a great lesson for this Chipolopolo squad. All that remains to be seen. The Zambia of the early 90’s was a feared force at home, hope this teams gets that spirit. We hold our hopes in Wada wada. Could he be our Coach Ucar Chitalu? I hope so. Good luck to Mighty Zambia. ur zambia coach is looking for experience players,, football is not in that era anymore most cauntries use kids.. The players u tink are experience are big flops.. If nigeria want to use experience players we would have called Osaze odewingie of (stoke city),, obafemi martins (sittle sounders), Ike uche (malaga) obi who plays for (inter milan) they are many but they are too old let the young players enjoy the game too

You always twist things to suit it to ur favor, the Super eagles is coming with full force as we didn’t also qualify for the Afcon. Players in camp now are in- form of their life and most of them are feared in their various clubs in Europe. It’s not going to be easy for the chipopolo, it’s either the eagles win or draw. Thank God Isaac success and Victor Moses are suffering hamstring injury, it would have be a dead alert to the chipolopolo. Isaac turned Bournemouth red and pink in the game btw them and watford, Victor is marvelous for chelsea this season(bagged man of the match at the chelsea last game).
One of ur compatriot in zambia, his name is called Jame lungu; he said Nigeria relies on young kids sensation, in the likes of iheanacho and alex Iwobi that they can’t help us to clinch it better in Ndola with their level of experience with the likes of zambian player? He forgot that both of them are playing in UEFA championship, they are small but very mighty tactical and technically. Meanwhile, he forgot we have talented and very high experience players in the likes of Brown Ideye, simon Moses, Onazi, Mikel Obi, Anderson Atisi, william troost, Omeruo, Leon balogun( this guy made the budesliga top 11 for last month) Musa muhammed, ahmed musa, echijele, and so on that I can’t mention. They are in form and are ready to soar. Up eagles.
