Zambia’s Chipolopolo held a recovery session at the Trade Fair Grounds in Ndola on Saturday afternoon as preparations began for their next 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The session came less than 24 hours after Zambia’s 3–1 defeat by Algeria in their opening Group I qualifier in Tizi Ouzou.
The squad returned to Zambia on Saturday before heading into a recovery programme designed to help the players manage the physical demands of Friday night’s encounter and prepare for another important fixture.
Zambia will face Togo on Tuesday, 29 September, at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00.
The Chipolopolo will be looking to respond against the Togolese after opening their qualifying campaign with a defeat against Algeria.
The match will be played in front of a home crowd, with tickets still available.
