Chipolopolo beat Malawi to finish third at the four team invitational tournament

The Zambia National Team finished third at the four Nations invitational tournament held in Lilongwe during the March FIFA window.

This follows a 2-1 win over Malawi in a third and fourth play off on Tuesday.

Goals from skipper Clatous Chama and Patson Daka gave Zambia a deserved 2-1 win with Lawrence Chaziya’s goal proving a consolation for Malawi.

Zambia lost on post match penalties to Zimbabwe while Malawi suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Kenya in the semifinals.

Kenya were crowned Champions after beating Zimbabwe 3-1 in the final thanks to a hat-trick from Michael Olunga.
