Chipolopolo Back Home…shift focus to Comoros Match

The Chipolopolo boys are back from Ivory Coast after their Group H encounter against Coted’voire played in Yamoussoukro on Friday and will now focus on Tuesday’s game against Comoros.

Coach Aljosa Asanovic’s bullets arrived aboard a chartered Air Coted’voire flight that jetted in at 23:30 hours on Saturday.
Zambia Sports Fans Association president and FAZ life member Pastor Peter Makembo welcomed the team with his band at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.

Makembo said the fans were looking forward to a redemption contest on Tuesday against Comoros at National Heroes Stadium.
He said that the fans were fully behind the squad despite the 3-1 loss on Match Day One of the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Tickets for Tuesday’s match are on sale across Shoprite outlets via Computicket with prices ranging from K50-K200.
Kickoff is at 18:00 hours CAT.
