The Zambia National Team schedule for the 2023 AFCON is now available ahead of the 34th edition of the kick off of the biennial tournament.
The Chipolopolo Boys will start their TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 campaign against Congo DR on Wednesday, 17th January at the Stade Laurent Pokou in San Pedro.
This is after CAF released the official match schedule for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 following the successful draw held in Abidjan last week.
The opening game will feature hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau on Saturday 13 January 2024 at Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium of Ebimpe, in Abidjan. The match will kick off at 20h00 local time (GMT)
Zambia will return to the pitch on 21st January as they face off with East African side Tanzania.
Avram Grant’s side will conclude their group stage campaign with a tricky encounter against Morocco on Wednesday, 24th January.
The round of 16 will take place between 27th and 30th January while the quarter finals will be played on 2nd and 3rd February.
The semi finals will take place on 7th February, the third and fourth will be played on 10th and the final of the 11th February.
