Chiparamba will arrive today in Sweden ahead of the 2025 Gothia Cup – The World Youth Cup, which will take place from July 13th to July 19th, 2025, at Valhalla IP and Heden in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden.
Chiparamba, a Zambia select side, which will take part in the 2025 Gothia Cup left for Eastern Europe yesterday and will be expected in Gothenburg, Sweden today.
The 2025 Gothia Cup will comprise of 28 teams, 14 top Swedish Academies, and 14 academies from the rest of the world ,
Chiparamba is in a group with a Senegalese Academy and two Swedish Academies.
Players from Kafue Celtic and Sporting Lusaka make up the bulk of the Chiparamba team. The tournament will accommodate players born in 2008.
Kafue Celtic have contributed players like midfielder Nthasilwe Malupande, striker Caleb Musonda, Clever Kavungu, Nelson Chilemu and, defender Emmanuel Mbuti.
Sporting Lusaka have contributed defender Blessings Sinyangwe, midfield workhorse Darius Musonda and midfield ace Victor ‘Bebem’ Simazuwo
Other players are Donald Chulu from BUSA, Joseph Zulu of Nangweshi Pirates, Wiseman Nyirenda of Billy Pro Sports, Timothy Mandu and Vincent Malekani from Chawama United.
