So Tenant Chilumba has disappeared from Zesco United after his short return which was unannounced by the club.
News filtering in is that Zesco have opted to terminate TC’s contract without mutual consent.
The gaffer, alias ‘Careless Millionaire’, dumped Mufulira Wanderers to re-join Zesco less than a year after he was dismissed.
TC and his representatives are now reported to be exploring options to pursue legal action for the unlawful separation initiated by Zesco.
There is a typical soap opera transpiring at the 2016 CAF Champions League semi-finalists.
Zesco United CEO Ponga Liwewe on TC dismissal: “Any decision that the club makes is always in the best interest of the club,”
“If we decide to discontinue with the coach, the first consideration lies on the benefit for the club”.
