Super League Champions Red Arrows face a stern test at Nkoloma Stadium as the airmen clash against Napsa Stars in the Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield.
In the repeat of the 2022 Absa Cup final at the same venue, Arrows will be wary of the threat poised by Perry Mutapa’s Absa Cup holders.
Arrows coach Chisi Mbewe is expected to start with Charles Kalumba in goal while skipper Benedict Chepeshi will be joined by Kebson Kamanga, Allan Kapila and new signing Rudy Makwekwe in defence.
In midfield Edward Tembo, Thomas ‘Yaya’ Zulu, Saddam Yusuf Phiri and George Mandu will be battle it out for the three positions.
Zambian Player of the Year Ricky Banda is expected to lead the line alongside Soutra Tshimenga and Joseph Phiri.

Napsa might hand starting berths to two signings in the form Fredrick Mwimazi and Leornard Mulenga.
Mwimazi might partner Luka Banda in defence while Bornwell Silengo and Gift Zulu might occupy the full back positions.
In midfield either Mulenga or veteran Sydney Kalume might occupy the base with Keegan Zulu and Daniel Adoko on either side.
Scorer of the winning goal in the Absa Cup final Chanida Zulu will be at the tip of this diamond midfield.
University of Zambia graduate Musonda Kapembwa and Jimmy Mukeya are set to lead the attack.
