Clatous Chota Chama started Simba’s CAF Champions League away tie against Horoya.
Horoya defeated Simba 1-0 in Conakry, Guinea on Saturday.
The Tanzanian giants were lucky not to concede the second goal after goalkeeper Aisha Manuila saved a spot kick.
Chama started on the left flank while compatriot Moses Phiri started on the bench after recovering from an injury.
Phiri came off the bench to play the last 28 minutes after replacing Hamed Ismael Sawadogo in the 62nd minute.
