Chambeshi SNUBS Forest to return home

Zambian coach Beston ‘Quicksilver’ Chambeshi has returned to Nkana Stadium after signing a deal with 13 times Zambian Champions.

Chambeshi who was on his way to Forest Rangers after he resigned as Kansashi Dynamos coach last week was unveiled as new Kalampa coach on Thursday.

This will be Chambeshi’s fourth spell at the Wusakile based side.

“It was not an easy decision to make a decision to come back but I believe I belong to this team and my blood is Nkana, so I decided to come back and help the team,” the former Zambia Under-20 coach said

Nkana have been dumped out of the CAF Confederations Cup and are struggling in the league as they are in the drop zone along side Green Buffaloes, Green Eagles and Kitwe United.

Chambeshi, who played for the Kitwe giants will be hoping to steer them from the drop zone.

This is the fourth coach the red devils will be having this season.

Seoul 1988 Olympics defender and Kabwe Warriors legend Manfred Chabinga started the season at the helm of Kalampa before he was replaced by UEFA B licence holder Kelvin Kaindu.

Kaindu still on gardening leave. Simonda took over in a care taker role before the announcement of Chambeshi
